Artist statement
Charmaine Walters is an A1 poster that uses alcohol markers and ink toÌýmimic postersÌýfor comicÌýbooks.ÌýThe poster was created over a week after a comic was created using visual techniquesÌýsuch as focal pointÌýand incorporating text to create a comic narrative.ÌýComic techniquesÌýsuch as bold ink lines were usedÌýtoÌýmimic a comic style.ÌýThe workÌýexploresÌýnarrativeÌýwithin comicsÌýand the dynamic between image and text.
