Artist statement
When Chasing Known UnknownsÌýconsists of two mixed media drawing that render the liminal realmn between childhoodÌý memory and adult reminiscence. Depictions of fragmented realities are created through a juxtaposition of delicate biro shading and vibrant colour; however, scenes with finality. elaborate wrought iron framing presents these unreliable Through the use of parafiction, the drawings explore between confabulated and true memories the barrier, as they navigateÌý and challenge the authenticity and authorship of the past.
