Cardiac, Vascular and Metabolic Medicine Early to Mid-Career Budget Workshop

One of the greatest challenges encountered by early to mid-career researchers while applying for a grant is how to develop an effective budget for their research grant proposal. In June 2023, the Cardiac, Vascular and Metabolic Medicine Early to Mid-Career Researchers (EMCR) Committee facilitated a workshop on planning and preparing for a budget for a research grant proposal. The workshop, presented by the ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Faculty of Medicine & Health Research Support Team, covered a range of topics including understanding the various categories of research funding, how to best address the grant proposal guidelines, and real budget examples.
