Belinda J Dunstan is a Senior Lecturer in the ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture, and isÌýthe Principal Lead for theÌýthe ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Creative Robotics Lab.
Belinda is the Director of the Minor in Social Robotics for the Bachelor of Design, and the Course Convenor for Interior Architecture:ÌýCritical Perspectives and for Computational Design: Human-Machine Interaction.Ìý
Belinda’s research focuses on the appearance design, movement planning and future cultural implications of social robots.ÌýHer current research interests are inÌýsocial robot morphology, critical futuring, technology ethics and designing for diversity.ÌýBelinda has published with first quartile publishers such as SAGE Journal, Taylor & Francis and Springer and presented at T1 international robotics conferences such as SIGGRAPH, RO-MAN and ICRA. She is the lead editor of Cultural Robotics: Social Robots and their Emergent Cultural Ecologies (Springer, 2023).
