Jenny Robinson has had a long and rewarding career as a secondary school music teacher and Head Teacher in several Department of Education schools across New South Wales, Australia. Since 2011, she has also lectured to pre-service secondary school Music teachers in Music Method at the University of NSW (ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø). Jenny's recently completed PhD explored the 'factors influencing the working lives of Australian secondary school music teachers'. In 2023 Jenny was appointed as .5 lecturer, working as a Curriculum and Pedagogy Coordinator for the School of Education, ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø. Jenny is passionate about music education and sustaining secondary teachers throughout their careers.

Jenny is past Chair and Secretary, and an on-going committee member of the NSW chapter of the Australian Society for Music Education (ASME) which promotes advocacy and professional development for music teachers.
