TheÌýMaster ofÌýConstructionÌýProjectÌýManagementÌýat ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø is a 1.7, or 1 year acceleratedÌýpostgraduateÌýdegree that will prepare you for career advancement that drives solutions to current and future challenges in theÌýconstruction industry.Ìý
Through advanced disciplinary courses and aÌýresearch project, you’ll dive into modern management methodologies. You’ll apply them to achieve successful project outcomes across time, cost, quality, safety, andÌýsustainability, preparing to manage projects that benefit people and the planet. Ìý
Practical experience is at the core of this degree. Entry requirements
There are two different entry pathways to the Master of Construction Project Management. The program you apply for will depend on whether you’re eligible for undertake the accelerated program or not. This is based on the depth of your prior experience, and how closely it relates to construction project management.
1.7 year full-time program | 72 Units of Credit (UOC)
- A bachelor degree with a credit average in a related field*, OR
- A bachelor degree in any field with a credit average plus two years construction industry experience at a managerial level, OR
- A Graduate Certificate in Construction (or construction related fields) from an Australian institution with a credit average (equivalent to a ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø WAM of 65)
1 year full-time program | 48 Units of Credit (UOC)
- An undergraduate honours degree with a credit average in a related field*, OR
- An undergraduate honours with a credit average in an unrelated field honours plusÌý2 years construction industry experience at a managerial level, OR
- A master’s degree with a credit average in a related* field
If you meet the criteria for the 1 year program, you’ll receive Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) credit points for three subjects (24 UOC).Ìý

If you didn’t meet the entry requirements in your undergraduate studies, you may be eligible to study ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø’s Graduate Certificate in Construction Project Management as a pathway into the Master’s program.Ìý
English language requirements

You may be asked to provide evidence of your English proficiency to study at ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø depending on your educational background and citizenship. English language skills are vitally important for coping with lectures, tutorials, assignments and examinations - this is why ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø requires a minimum English language competency for enrolment.
If you’re completing an Australian Year 12 qualification (e.g. NSW HSC or equivalent), you do not need to provide anything extra to prove your proficiency. Your qualification will be used as evidence of your English proficiency.
If you do need to provide evidence of your English proficiency, this will be indicated in your application. You can prove this by providing evidence that you meet one or more of the following criteria:

Each university year at ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø has three terms and an optional summer study period. You can study full-time or part-time. Depending on how you plan your study load, you can fit two or three courses into a term and one course in a summer term.

Research project
In your final semester of study, you'll devise and independently undertake a major research project. You'll specialise in an area of interest and build further depth and expertise in that area. Before undertaking the project, you’ll complete a research seminar which will provide you with the research- skills needed. Your project will relate to professional practice in project management, equipping you with real-world skills you can carry into the workplace.

If you’re eligible to study the accelerated program, you’ll receive credit points for three subjects (24 Units of Credit/UOC) meaning you won’t need to study BENV7020 Research Seminar (6 UOC), REST0018 Research Project (12 UOC) and one 6 UOC elective.
