The research project for the Disability Royal Commission produces evidence about effective policies to change attitudes towards people with disability so they are better included in society. The research uses a framework to identify effective policies at different levels of intervention: personal, organisational and structural levels.

Research methods are, first, a literature and policy review of national and international evidence on effective policies. Second, the research includes a scan of the experience of governments and the public on the effectiveness of policy to change attitudes. The scan will involve online and web-based consultations. The research identifies points for policy intervention.
