  • All Inclusion@ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø trainings support learning outcomes that enable participants to understand their role in building an inclusive culture at ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø and feel supported to do so. They will develop participants' capacity to adjust behaviours (such as practical guidance on inclusive language) and to have critical conversations (such as practical conversations that challenge harmful stereotypes).

The LGBTQIA+ Allyship Moodle module provides a foundational basis of knowledge on LGBTQIA+ communities and history and the workshop builds on this foundation, exploring ways to practise allyship.

    Learning outcomes include:

    • Increased understanding of the diverse identities and experiences within LGBTQIA+ communities, including the challenges they face and the impact of discrimination.
    • Increased understanding of inclusive language when referring to, or speaking with, people from LGBTQIA+ communities.
    • Confidence to support LGBTQIA+ students and staff at ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø.
    • An understanding of what allyship at ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø will look like.
  • Once you complete the workshop, you will be required to complete a survey to confirm your ally@ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø membership.Ìý

We encourage all participants to become members of the ally@ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Network but understand that it’s not suitable for everyone. See more information about the roles of an ally@ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø.Ìý
