Bachelor of Education (Secondary Honours)

The Bachelor of Education (Honours) is a one-year advanced undergraduate degree for high achieving students which may be taken upon completion of an undergraduate degree in Education. The focus of the Honours year is on the further development of analytical and research skills, deepening of knowledge, and application of methods specific to educational research. The program may be a pathway into a graduate research degree (MEd Research; PhD).

Master of Educational Leadership

The Master of Educational Leadership is a one-year postgraduate degree provides aspiring and current educational leaders with an understanding of theory, research, and practice in educational leadership.

Masters of Teaching (Secondary)

The ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Master of Teaching (Secondary) is a full-time postgraduate teacher education course that will provide you a fast-track to employment as a secondary school teacher. This is an accelerated teaching degree, which includes practical in-school experience. After one year of full-time study, you’ll be eligible for employment as a secondary school teacher.

Development studies is essential for providing answers to the world’s most complicated questions in a time when urbanisation is accelerating, environmental health is declining, disparities are widening and communications and technologies never stand still. Students learn the conceptual and analytical tools required to understand and negotiate the complexity of global development in order to add to the conversation in a meaningful way.
