The 2024 Girls in Business (GiB) Camp is designed for female-identifyingÌýstudents in years 10, 11 or 12 from across NSW, who want to explore a future in business. This collaborative program with ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Business School and our industry partners aims to equip these students with the skills, desire, and ambition to study and work in the disciplines of:

• Banking and Finance
• Economics
• Information Systems and Technology Management
• Risk and Actuarial Studies

To provide students with an understanding of these study areas and to learn from inspiring female-identifyingÌýrole models, we will be delivering workshops, info sessions and company site visits across 3 days, 16 – 18 July 2024:

• Day 1: Students will participate in various activities held at the ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Kensington campus
• Day 2: Students will visit industry partners in Sydney CBD
• Day 3: Students will participate in a case competition capstone and learn about the different ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø enrolment pathways.

This opportunity allows students to network with like-minded high school students across New South Wales. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of these fields and learn from inspiring female-identifying role models while exploring what life as a ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Business School student could be like.

When is it?

Our 2024 camp will be held in person at the ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Sydney KensingtonÌýCampus over 3 consecutive days: 16th, 17th and 18th July. Morning tea and lunch will be provided for participants joining us on campus. .

Who can attend?

This program is open to any year 10, 11 or 12 female-identifying high school students in New South Wales who are genuinely interested in studyingÌýBanking and Finance,ÌýEconomics,ÌýInformation Systems and Technology Management,ÌýRisk and Actuarial StudiesÌýat ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Business School. It is strongly recommended that students who participate in this program are studying mathematics.

Please note: By registering you are confirming your spot for the full three-day Girls in Business Camp, and you agree that you can make your own way to and from campus for the full three days.

• Interactive workshops delivered by ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Academic staff and Women in Business student ambassadors
• Real-world insights through an Alumni panel discussion with Q&A along with Industry site visits
• ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Business School student networking opportunity
• ÁñÁ«¹ÙÍø Business School program pathway and future student opportunities information session

Participants will also have the chance to network with like-minded high school students across New South Wales in a fun and relaxed environment.
